[Event Recap #21] #romanceclass at The Ayala Museum


Last year, there were plenty of opportunities for me to support plenty of Filipino authors. It was the year that the #romanceclass reading trend started, at least that’s what I know. But for some reason, a part of me didn’t want to get in on board with other Filipino readers. There were live-reading and/or signing events every now and then, but I failed to attend or support at least one. So this year, albeit being late, I’m going to try and fully help and support Filipino authors promote their books and/or advocacies. I think it’s about time for me to actually post some Filipino content here on Book Freak Revelations, and now, I’m excited to share with everyone my first event recap of the year! [Event Recap #18] The Philippine Readers and Writers Festival 2016


After a month of trying to adapt to my new working environment, of course, I need to reward myself and try to de-stress. What better way to do just that than to attend bookish events and meet my friends, both old and new. [Event Recap #17] #AmyandAndreainPH


Last July 3rd, I had the most amazing time meeting Amy Zhang, and Andrea PortesHarperCollins authors of Falling Into Place, This is Where The World Ends, Anatomy of A Misfit, and Fall of Butterflies. I had to come clean then that I am yet to read their books, and neither do I have them so I opted to have one book of each author signed for a future giveaway instead, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
