Okay, so it’s no secret that ever since I got fully adjusted with work, that I’ve been quite inactive on here. Only being able to post fully drafted and scheduled posts, I’m really quite limited. With Sundays being the only free day I get to brainstorm and word vomit, I can’t help but neglect and leave Book Freak Revelations hanging every now and then. It’s with a prideful heart, though, that today, I get to finally share with everyone ALL THE BOOKS I got during the months of October and November! It’s been months since I last posted a haul post, so I might as well post one now, right?
I can’t believe September has already come and gone. With all the new releases, bookish events, and life in general trying to catch up, it’s no secret that every once in a while, a bibliophile deserves to treat themselves to something worthwhile. In my case, I went all out. I spent some of my hard-earned money on books. I went to plenty of bookish events. And I’ve joined several Blog Tours during the month of September, and it’s been amazing. Here’s a quick recap of all the fabulous things I’ve posted!
August was definitely not the best month for me in terms of reading and blogging. I took my sweet time trying to adjust to finally being an adult with a full time job, and I (kinda) neglected being a book freak. This unexpected hiatus made me feel a bit better about myself and how Book Freak Revelations still has it’s place in the book blogosphere. It was unexpected, but I actually had fun while I was at it. Anyway, here’s a wrap-up so I could share with you some of the things that went down for me and my blog last August!
This month has been fabulous! From landing a job, to co-hosting a bookish meet-up for Filipino book nerds, July will be embedded in my mind as one of the best months yet of 2016! It’s been fun, but of course, all good months must eventually come to an end. Here’s a rundown of everything that went down during July of 2016! 🙂
June was quite a fun-filled month! Last June 7th, I finally graduated with honors from college, and everything felt bittersweet about it. I am feeling a bit disheartened to be leaving my beloved University of Santo Tomas, and at the same time, I am also extremely excited for what’s in store for me in the hospitality industry. But for now, I am enjoying my summer vacation, which paved the way for some good quality reading time, and brainstorming, drafting, and publishing new content here on Book Freak Revelations.
